I've never been bungee jumping. I've never driven a car faster than 100 mph. I've never streaked a sports game. I've also never been laid off... well, that is until today. And to tell the truth, its a strange, strange experience. It's a big ball of mixed emotions. Sadly, it wasn't a huge slap in the face. I kind of saw it coming. It was more of a wake up call. I'm not sad, angry or depressed. If anything, I'm excited. Excited to try something new. I'm ready to get out there and share myself with new people and new opportunities.
What to do, what to do?
Does anyone know if there is some way to take my DA account offline for a little while without actually deleting the entire thing? I don't want to do deviant art for the time being, but I would absolutely hate to lose all my posts, friends, etc. Any suggestions?

I just picked up this book by Hugh MacLeod, and artist writing on the subject of success and creativity. I've only read the first few chapters, but I'm seriously impressed. A few quotes....
