I've been working on this bloody thing for far too long now. I started it almost a year ago, set it aside and have recently picked it back up. I'm not gonna talk much about it, but this first scene will explain a lot.

check it out, be-otches -----> [link]

LHO!

----------------------------------------Attention-------------------------------------

Okay, I've updated this a bit more. You can still like to the old version above, or feel free to drop in a check out the final version here------> [link]

Sadly it's not a current project at all, and I submitted that a few years ago now. But, it's a combination of a bunch of different stuff: traditional animation, photoshop coloring and composited together in aftereffects. I'm sure that if I were to do it again, I'd probably just do it all in flash

Looks pretty awesome to me!

What program did you use for the multiplane camera effect?

Thanks. I had things broken down into 3 layers which I moved across a stationary camera at different speeds in After Effects.

Nice mix of ones and twos on that run! Its too bad you can't see more of it in your final edit, but the darkness and mood you get make it worth it.

That is amazing! What software are you using?

What I've got, really. I don't have any REAL animation software, so I've had to improvise some. I colored each frame in photoshop. Painted the layouts in Painter. Composited the thing together in After Effects and finally am using Final Cut Pro to put the final edit together (for the entire project, that is). Check back soon, I've got a version I'm gonna post in just a bit.

Thanks.

uh sounds like a huge effort... why don't u use flash?

Because Flash isn't meant for traditional animation, and traditional animation looks better. :)

hey niiiice! I'm glad you're still doing this, it's going to be a great little animation gem when it's done.

And I gave your version of Les Mis 2 stars....it wasn't very true to the original.

What would you expect from a bunch of 8-year-olds that can't even pronounce Jean Valjean.

Oh! I get it! You've only read the abridged version! That makes total sense. I think they omitted the giant squid
